All BMW scale models are made out of high quality diecast metal. Only 1/87 scale models are made from plastic parts. All models are pre-assembled from the manufacturer. No assembly required. This ensures the models are of highest build quality. We have a variety of scales available. 1:12, 1:18, 1:43, and 1:87 are the most common. 1/18 scale models are approximately 8-9 inches in length. 1/43 scale models range from 3-4" in length. 1/87 scale modes are usually about 1 inch.
